Round of applause for our sponsors

This is my graduation project for New3dge Concept Art, inspired by my favorite fantasy book series, "The First Law," and specifically the first book, "The Blade Itself" by Joe Abercrombie.

The Agriont is the heart of Adua, the capital of the Union, a coastal city known as the "City of White Towers," where the royal palace, government, and high nobility reside amidst significant wealth and poverty.

Our narrative follows the First of the Magi, Bayaz, as he embarks on his first walk through the city. Bayaz, the founder of the Union, has been long absent from Adua, leading to his unrecognized presence by most of its inhabitants.

                    The Royal Palace

“The palace loomed up ahead of them, a confusion of roofs, towers, sculptures, ornamental stonework outlined against the first pale glow of morning.” - The Blade Itself by Joe Abercrombie

                      The University

“The University stands in a neglected corner of the Agriont, directly in the shadow of the House of the Maker. It is a huge, ramshackle building, coated in half-dead ivy, its design plainly from an earlier age; it is the oldest buildings in the city after the House of the Maker.” - The Blade Itself by Joe Abercrombie

                House of the Maker

The House of the Maker is the tallest building in the city. There is a brutal honesty in its grim immensity. There are no windows in those naked walls, no softness, no indulgence in that mountain of naked stone; a merciless precision in its sharp, black angles.

                Streets of Agriont

“A patchwork of white walls, grey roofs, glinting windows, green gardens.” - The Blade Itself by Joe Abercrombie

Huge thanks to Danar Worya, who gave us amazing feedback throughout this project.

Icali is a group project on which I had the opportunity to work on during the second year of New3dge Concept Art. It was a collaboration with the Game Art and VFX students of the school.

The game is set in the Aztec civilization during its peak, with a fantastical twist. The world is filled with mythical creatures from Aztec mythology, and the cities are grander and more magical than they were in reality.

My task was to create a sacrificial arena, where chosen fighters are fighting for the grace of the Sun god Huitzilopochtli.

"The Arena is located in the heart of the Aztec city, surrounded by towering temples and bustling markets. It is a massive square structure, built from stone and adorned with intricate carvings depicting scenes of battles, gods, and celestial phenomena."

For this project, my second task was to design the city ramparts from which our main protagonist makes their escape.

"The ramparts are adorned with intricate carvings and symbols, reflecting the city's rich culture and history. They offer a panoramic view of the surrounding landscape, from the dense jungle on one side to the bustling city on the other."

Thanks to Titas Ženevičius and Aurélien Fournier for their valuable feedback on this school project.

Underground Desert City - Star Wars Keyframes I did inside Unreal Engine 5

I  really enjoyed the learning experience of Unreal Engine, the possibilities are just amazing. I am looking forward to use this Software for upcoming Projects!

                       Special Thanks

A big shoutout to everyone at New3dge, especially Aurélien Fournier, for guiding us through this amazing program and allowing me to be a part of it.

My sincere thanks go to all our teachers over the past two years. I truly appreciate each one of you for your feedback and guidance throughout our time in school.

Finally, I want to express my deepest gratitude to my family, friends and classmates. It was certainly a challenging journey, but seeing everyone's progress over these two years has been truly amazing!
