Hello everyone! My name is Sofija Shahpaska and I'm finishing up with my studies at M3DS Academy this year. I love designing characters, creatures, and environments that would tell enticing stories. I hope you enjoy!

"If I could make my own rogue-like game, what kind of a character would I like to play as?" - this was the question that set me on the path to creating this character and his odd yet charming home.

Here I have some different angles of the interior of the Alchemy Carriage.

Eastern European, specifically Balkan traditional patterns and costumes have always been a fascinating thing for me. I was always intrigued by how my ancestors created intricate everyday clothes, kilim carpets and all kinds of tapestries. So, I wanted to create a project where all of these themes collide together.

Here I have the distaffs Grandma Siyka would use most frequently for holding her wool in place while she spins yarn.

I originally started designing the guild house in 3D which acted as a base for me to create a vibrant render of it later on.

Here are some rooms that would be on the second floor of the house. These rooms used to be filled with people day and night. Now not so much.

I am a big fan of exploring abandoned places around my city, so I decided to create urban legend-type characters that still frequent these forgotten locations.

This project was a challenge set by myself to think of as many mech designs as I possibly could that were inspired by beetles. Beetles are hardy creatures, so I decided that these mechs were in fact vehicles that can traverse the harshest of environments where nothing can grow and thrive. The end result was an illustration that is one of my favorites.

Thank you for your time!

I would like to thank my M3DS instructors and colleagues for all the knowledge that I have today and supporting me throughout this whole artistic journey.

Last but not least, I'd like to thank my family and friends for being here for me, pushing me to achieve my hopes and dreams every step of the way.
