Jude Martinez - Student Demo Reel

Introduction

Hi everyone,

My name is Jude Martinez and I am currently a student at Think Tank Training Centre, I am taking the Environments and Props for Film & TV pathway. I am very excited to be entering my Advanced and Intermediate Term finals in this year's Rookie awards. To be participating in this year's competition means a lot to me especially being surrounded by such a rich pool of artists.

This is what I did for my Advanced Term final for Think Tank Training Centre. For this term we were asked to find a concept that we liked and expand it. I set out to construct an environment for this final and expand on it, not just by adding an additional room but also adding movement into the scene. I was really happy with how this final project turned out, I learned and overcame so much, with the help of my supervisor and my peers.

This is what I did for my Intermediate Term final for Think Tank Training Centre. I decided to focus on a singular hero prop for this term so I could spend as much time as possible for refining and detailing. I was really happy with the outcome of this project, I feel like I was able to achieve my goals and I learned a lot about storytelling through my textures.

Conclusion

I just wanted to take the time to thank everyone who has supported me throughout this journey. Being surrounded by such supportive and hardworking peers has taught me so much, not only in the industry but also about myself. I can't wait to see where this journey takes me, I still feel just as excited as I was when I first started.
