Alice - the android

In Detroit: Echoes of Freedom, players embody Alice, an android child from the original game, who, ten years later, returns to the city where she was created.
Now, she appears as a young woman, carrying the weight of both her artificial origins and the complexities of human emotions she has come to understand.

The Michigan Station

Once Detroit's bustling train station, saved from demolition in 2009 by Ford, it now blend Beaux-Arts elegance with futuristic elements. In a city marked by technological resurgence, the station symbolizes the revival of rail transport.

In Detroit: Echoes of Freedom, CyberLife's modernization efforts breathe new life into the station, transforming it into a dynamic hub of activity, where holographic billboards, high-tech amenities, and revamped storefronts herald a new era of mobility and progress.

Narrative Intentions Note

Alice arrives illegally via a freight train at the station, it is well-maintained and clean but deserted, save for a few discreet homeless individuals seeking shelter. A curfew has been imposed following androids attacks in the city. The doors have been closed for the night, leaving only emergency lights, advertisements, and machines illuminated.

The atmosphere is tense: Alice is unwelcome in this city and must find a way out quickly.
