GameLighting_Portfolio_2024
This is my first Game Lighting Portfolio. This video was created using Unreal Engine 5. New lighting was performed using the existing environment level. Thank you for watching.
This portfolio consists of cinematic lighting - world lighting - seasonal 24-hour lighting - character lighting.
The goal of film lighting is to minimize the differences from world lighting as much as possible and eliminate the gap between the two.
World lighting also serves as a base that can support the overall atmosphere of movie lighting, and the goal is solid lighting.
The goal of seasonal 24-hour lighting is to help people feel a sense of the season by showing the colors that can be expressed by season and the sunrise and sunset times that are expressed differently depending on the season.
Lastly, the goal of character lighting was to perform lighting for each character based on the character selection window. When you select a character, an animation has been added to subtly change the lighting to help the character stand out.
Using existing levels, we hand-placed all the lights, set up camera animations for each cinematic, and animated the characters. Lighting was added to match the movie.
All of this was created using only Unreal Engine 5.
