Meet ''Princess Mononoke''

Hi everyone! This is my final update. I added various details on the face mask, such as the scratches and the blood trails on the mask and some leaves and petals on the base.

These have been interesting and intense days. Check out the whole post to see my working process, I hope you enjoy it!

Hi, this is my third update. The base of the body is finally complete. I had a little bit of a hard time trying to figure out how to get a good balance between the curved line and the little spots. Once I liked the result, I added the moss to blend everything together.

The base was really challenging, because I wanted to create the perfect water texture that wouldn't be out of tune with the ground forest.

Hiii! I’m here with my second update. Today I implemented the texture base of the face mask and I focused on creating a realistic fur as a frame.

I also created a base for the body texture inspired by the good of the forest. I wanted it to look very shiny and glowy. After that it was time to add some details on the body like the little nest for the kodama spirits and the wooden coves. Everything -including the details on the mask- was achieved with the displacement function. 

Hi! Those are my mood board and my sketches for the MeetMat 3 Contest. This is my first contest and I took inspiration from the "Princess Mononoke" film by Studio Ghibli. Each part of the MeetMat is influenced by a different element of the film. Mainly I focused on the forest, its spirits and the princess' mask.
