This scene was based on a concept by Du Jeu sebastien Please check them out for some amazing work.

Going into this project there was alot of overscoping and ambition about things I didnt really fully understand. Relatively late in the project I was forced to scale back and focus on quality and integrating the workflow that Dan Mihaila From Machine games taught me during my Mentorship at ThinkTankTraining Centere

There were many versions and re-do's for these wall modules and learned alot of the modular workflow paired with trimsheet oriented workflow

All the wall and floor modules share Materials specially made using baked Trims. This allowed me to get very high resolution bakes for the Meshmaps used in painter. Combining this with a self made Smart material and tweaks per asset turned out quite nice

As for the props they are baked and handled individualy. This was due to my own time crunsh. In the future I would combine all props into one material for optimisation and broader use

The key thing for me was learning a new workflow and impoving my general skills of texturing and modeling. Using marmosetToolbag I learned heaps about good Meshmaps for use in materials and texturing get my feet wet in Marvelous Designer.
