Intrepidus St

A busy intersection transforms traffic into their light trails to protect the pedestrians when it’s their time to cross, but it strikes as the best photo opportunity for a young, aspiring photographer. Taking jay walking to the next level, Intrepidus St is an upcoming short film about the tunnel vision a strong passion can possess, regardless of the danger.

Early character concept and color palette as well as color script. I wanted the film to gradually become more saturated and to the hue of red since red simultaneously represent passion and danger. That is also why the backpack is red since it contains the camera and related equipment.

Some background layouts from the film. As noted in the color script, the color scheme shifts from cyan to red to suggest the photographer is more focused and closer to his goal of the greatest photo.
