Think Tank Training Centre (Online)- Brianna Nicol

I have decided to show my progress through my foundations and intermediate term projects. I did not have much experience in 3d asset creation before joining Think Tank Online, so this was a big learning opportunity. I chose to specialize in the characters and creatures for games path, and I am so excited to continue this journey. Here are some of my projects that I have been working on during my time at Think Tank.

Train Car- this was one of my first ever 3D props, created with Maya and rendered in Arnold. It was very challenging at the time for me to create because I was fairly unfamiliar with the program, but I am happy with the results.

Backpack- This was for a Think Tank assignment in which we had to create a backpack of our choice, modeling it in Maya first and then bringing it over to Mudbox where it was sculpted with extra details.

Think Tank Foundations Final- Delivering The Light

For this assignment we were supposed to pick a piece of concept art and then translate it into 3D. I chose a concept created by the wonderful artist Devin Elle Kurtz. I used Maya, Mudbox, Substance Painter, and Photoshop in order to achieve the final product.

Mushroom Creature- For this project, I wanted to create a sculpt based on my own concept of a Mushroom-like creature. It was really fun to get to know Mudbox while having a lot of creative freedom to learn at the same time.

Undead Captain- The was my Final Project for the Intermediate term at Think Tank. The assignment was to create a full character that could be used in a video game.

I based my Pirate character on concept art by Labros Panousis on Art Station.

These are my favorite projects that I have completed so far, and I hope to continue learning more.

Thank You- Bri Nicol
