   Heavily inspired by retro futurism, the MALIKI. brand's identity is wrapped around the concept of futuristic streetwear. Our vision and narrative is designing for future civilization living among the stars. The BROKENDATE. S/S 2022 capsule collection takes inspiration from combining utilitarian style with our brand’s futuristic approach. The narrative we wanted to capture within our mood board is future civilization invading present day Earth, giving a bit of a futuristic fashion upgrade. 

   With heavy trend forecasting, our looks incorporate utilitarian and modular design elements such as pockets, zippers, buckles, cords and straps, as well as zip-off sleeves and removable pockets providing hyper-functionality and adaptability to the wearer. We wanted our color palette to be vibrant and playful with optical contrast welcoming the spring and summer seasons, in addition to, fun original prints. Our fabrics are of durable canvas, soft cotton sateen, tough twill and jersey knits made from superior quality Pima cotton. We’ve also included futuristic, reflective poly cotton and chrome mirror vinyl. While our brand welcomes everyone interested, our designs are best suited for men with bold fashion forward style.

MALIKI. GETAWAY. F/W 24 COLLECTION

   MALIKI. [mah-lih-ky], is a luxury phygital menswear label surrounding the concept of futuristic streetwear. The GETAWAY. F/W 24 collection is an escape to the year 2222, taking place in an advanced cybernetic civilization inspired by the sci-fi subgenre, cyberpunk, which combines hacker and punk culture.

   Looks are divided into three character classifications: Metahuman, Halien, & Cyborg. Metahuman looks focus on function and utility, always at the core of our designs. Halien looks incorporate virtually textured prints and 3D printed spikes inspired by genetic manipulation through use of biotechnology. And Cyborg looks focus on technology such as mechanical spines, LED cybermask, & holographic accessories.

   All design elements are taken into consideration with extensive research, AI generated prints and graphics for each look, superior quality & sustainable fabrics for extended garment life, surrealistic design approaches and advanced technology. This entire collection embodies the future while referencing the present, keeping garments forward, yet modern and wearable.
