The Aurora Borealis
The Aurora Borealis, or Northern Lights, is one of the most fascinating natural phenomena on the planet. This infographic uses an illustrative style to educate viewers about what causes it. I chose to utilize the geography associated with the Aurora as well as one of its mythical origins to tell the story of the Aurora in a captivating way.

I created this ident with the intent to brand Game Show Network's internship program. Playing on their newly-renovated logo design and color scheme, this animation highlights some of their most iconic shows while placing an emphasis on careers at the network.

Love/Paranoia: Tame Impala Music Video
I created this music video concept to portray the story Kevin Parker tells in Tame Impala's "Love/Paranoia." This psychedelic journey is a representation of his thoughts, feelings, and memories associated with a strained romantic relationship. My intention was to use a loose illustrative style to express the song's emotions of solitude, longing, and reflection, paired with liquid-like hand-drawn typography to highlight key lyrics. As the animation progresses, Kevin travels through his mind revisiting past memories and experiences.

This brief animation was a fun exploration of whimsical shapes using liquid motion Photoshop animation techniques. I used a variety of software during my creative process; I created the motion of the geometric shapes in Cinema 4D, and transitioned to Adobe Photoshop to animate the 2-dimensional elements. I then composited the final piece in Adobe After Effects.

The purpose of this Network ID is to communicate the direct, personal, contemporary, and curious voice that drives VICELAND’s programming by pairing verbage akin to their mission with imagery of their controversial and provocative subject matter. This animation would be broadcasted between the network's television shows as a promotional bumper.
