Modeling and Texturing Showreel of the best projects I've made till now. The best part of those, made during my master at Skyup Academy and later on. Hope you can enjoy.

Round of applause for our sponsors

OLD SYRINGE

This old syringe in this case is the asset I was assigned for my personal modeling and texturing project at Skyup Academy. This really got me into vintage medical gears. Plus, the reference image was Blurry and pixelated!

For this task software used were Maya, Substance 3D Painter, Zbrush, V-ray and Photoshop.

Further than texturing, it was in the shading and rendering stages that I became quite truly satisfied. Displaceing the screw-shaped metal piston on the syringe inside and the little numbers on it turned out very satisfying in render, just like the baking of little scratches and bumpies made in z-brush to bake later on in normal and height maps.

VEL TITALEE - a sculpted legendary Mantaray

This sculpting project, made from a concept also developed by me, was the conclusion of the first weeks at Skyup Academy, when we focused on sculpting. On this project I focused on zbrush and later gained confidence with stageing, lighing and rendering with Maya and V-ray, while procedural materials were already given.

FIAT 500 Meet MAT :)

Ever seen  a 500 Fiat meet mat? I did along with my first steps into Substance Painter. Concept from me:)

STILT HOUSE - group project

In this group project from Skyup Academy I had a team coordination role and my work focused mostly on layout and shading, other than modeling and texturing the roof and setting the relative fur.

A great thank to Luca Bertoncello, Giuseppe Rodi and Ezoubair Warid

STARSHIP LANDING FOOT - Modeling, texturing, rigging, lookdev, animation

An asset from the film DUNE, created for the thesis project at Skyup

This was quite a challanging asset. It wasn't that easy to rig all the pieces to make them move togeather.

Below, you can see the original shot from the film and a WIP render from  the first shading stage of the model

BAKAROTOUR - A non finished project

To make a conclusion, some raw renders of a project I've been working recently, not finished yet. Hope you can still enjoy them. Concept was by me and was about an old fishing ship from Venice, mixed with some asian influences here and there. I'm gonna improve this ASAP so any tips are welcome!

Thanks a lot to everyone who made it to this, and have a great year of 3D!!! :)
