On the season finale of "the One," Carter must compete against the Mongolian Death Worm for the hand of Kenzie, the bachelorette. This is a senior thesis film completed by Molly Parsons and Ellery Stocker, who are responsible for all aspects except sound and score. The film is rated pg-13 for rude humor and violence

"The One" is a Bachelorette-parody where Carter, the sexy med student, must compete against MDW for the hand of Kenzie, the bachelorette. However, MDW isn't like other guys....he's a 30ft-long deathworm. Will Carter be able to survive long enough to find the true love he's been looking for?

This was our first time creating a monster in 3D, and in order to get the performances we needed for the film, we had to create our own custom rig. We used a combination of joints, soft modifiers, and shape deformers in order to get the movement we needed to create a terrifying yet charming deathworm.
