This is my first finished project after graduating uni in 2022. I had a lot more projects that I started but none of them hit the quality bar I was striving for, this one though I'm quite happy with.
This is my first finished project after graduating uni in 2022. I had a lot more projects that I started but none of them hit the quality bar I was striving for, this one though I'm quite happy with.
I worked really hard to make it technically as AAA game ready as possible. The only thing that isn't game ready at all is the hair which I created using the Hair Particle system in Blender.
All the shaders apart from the eyes (MetaHuman) were done by me. The model was created from scratch, I didn't want to use any basemeshes or anything like that. I used 4K maps to make the presentation as crisp as I could although these maps would hold quite well if they were 2K. The mesh itself is 27K tris (that's with the eyes, caruncula and a mesh to add redness in the corners of the eyes).
I used a total of three 4K maps: Diffuse, Packed (AO, Roughness, SSS, Cavity), Normal.
