Playtime

"Playtime" was a project that sought to capture the intimate bond shared between a father and his daughter. Animating a child presented a new challenge for me. Unlike the more rigid movements of adults, children are known for their flexibility, and I was determined to show this in the movements of my young character.

The Duke

The Duke is a character I've conceptualized, modeled, rigged and animated from start to finish. In order to bring out a wide range of expressions in his face, I used blendshapes. These also allowed me to create smooth inbetweens.

En Roue Libre

En Roue Libre is a 3D short animated film that I have been working on this year alongside a team of very talented individuals. Throughout this project, I was mainly involved as a storyboarder an animator. I partially worked on the layout and scenario as well.

The animatic was created with the help of Skander Cheriet and Julie Zenner. Their work is amazing, go check them out!

I'm Sorry!

In "I'm Sorry!" I animated a line from the Scout, a character from Valve's Team Fortress 2. Body language was very important to me in this project. The Scout is typically known for being loud and confident, and it was crucial to convey that personality through the animation's dynamic movements and highly contrasted key poses.

Sold Out

"Sold Out" is a short film that I realized entirely earlier this year. This project marked my first step in a lot of areas I wasn't used to work on before, like rigging and rendering. Modeling the environment posed its own set of challenges, but I discovered that with the help of lighting and compositing, its overall look could be enhanced. The process of creating "Sold Out" not only expanded my understanding of 3D animation but also introduced me to new horizons within the field.
