Vintage Barometer: Adventure for creatures
This was one of assessments in media design school.
This is my mini project in second year at Media Design School. (It was a one of assessments)
It requires to create my own narrative and choose few objects what is relevant for the story. My theme is about a 'Journey for Creatures'. and this is my narrative 'Enthralled by the illustrations of mythical creatures in an art book, a man sets out on a journey to find them'. I chose a vintage barometer and creatures' book for the story. Maya 2023 for modelling, Substance 3D painter for texturing, redshift for render, Nuke X 14.3 for comp and grade were used.

It is made of brass, wood, and glass. It's an old vintage barometer, so the surface is damaged, the coated wood is peeled off, and the brass is rusty. The hand and inside are made of metal and they are covered by glass with scratch.

2) Books

The books are made of paper, but the page to be used as a map is slightly glossy, and the paper with the creatures is dry.
This is my final render. I utilized Nuke for make background blurrier and did come and grade.
