Round of applause for our sponsors

The Mortal Remains is my current webcomic project, a gothic horror tale set in 1860s Castille. For this story I took the atmosphere of classic Victorian horror stories and gave it a twist, making it closer to the history and culture of my country, and being inspired by Castille endless moors, picturesque towns and millenary churches.
Being set in a realistic historical enviroment, I made simple character designs that show personality through details and expression, while staying close to the period's fashion with small creative liberties.

Original art and other projects

My works for a Drawtober project, inspired by Art Nouveau illustration. While the pieces are not set in the same world, I tried to keep a cohesive aesthetic between them.

Character sprites I made for the mock visual novel project The Copperwood Belfry. The story of the visual novel is set in the depths of a wood near the sea, where different characters live their lifes away from society: it has a a comfy slice of life tone within a dark fantasy context. My objective was to create charming and distinctive character designs that feel like they belong to the same world despite the different inspirations for their appearence and clothing.

Illustration and character expressions of my character Julien Velasco, a mediocre gambler who rose to fame after receiving the Gift of Luck. I gave him the appereance of a perfect gentleman from the 20s, but with a decidedly villanous look.

Fan art

Drawing fan art of the media I love has contributed a lot to my growth as an artist for many years. I'm especially inspired by FromSoftware games, since they allow me to interpret characters and their motivations very freely, and pour my own vision over the existing framework.

These three illustrations are fanart of Bloodborne, Elden Ring and Final Fantasy XIV respectively.
