Overview: The story is about a piece of gum that comes to life after being discarded by a nine-year-old boy under his school desk. Three older pieces of gum under the same desk inform the new arrival that they are in the 'graveyard of gums.' The gum wants to return to the boy's mouth but faces obstacles along the way. The young gum tries to convince the boy to chew it again but gets hit with a textbook. However, the older gums combine their efforts and form a gumball, which attracts other gums from around the school. Together, they become a giant gumball and chase after the boy, eventually succeeding in getting the young gum back into the boy's mouth. The gumball then spots another piece of gum placed under a different desk and rolls towards it.
