The Orphanage
The short film's palette is mainly composed by muted colors, something that is also reflected in the BGs.
The protagonist's Nightmare
BGs used during the Nightmare scenes where we learn about the protagonist's traumas. Everything is in black and white to create a visual contrast with the rest of the short film.
