Into the Heavens of Chaos

"Into the Heavens of Chaos" is a conceptual piece that captures the essence of the mysterious, evoking feelings of unsettlement and sensations through its grunge-inspired aesthetics. The piece immerses the viewer in a world where beauty meets disruption.

i died, actually exist

"i died, actually exists" traces an ode to experimental literature in the form of a visual poem and explores one's relationship with identity and society.

Concept

Avant-garde poet, John M. Bennet, felt the need to demonstrate his relevance in time as he described how he felt invisible. As a result, he retained pieces from his day to day life that documented his existence and relevance in time. “Found Objects” (1973), a collection of visual poems, justifies this idea by being a physical representation of his time in this world. Paper scraps and fragments from magazines, newspapers and other media to record he is an actual person. Bennet's text is featured as an element of design over function in order to maintain the integrity of his piece as a visual composition.

Star Treatment

The Cold War years witnessed the Space Race between the US and the Soviet Union. Humans discovered the Moon, politics became scientific, and design became more glamorous and futuristic in representing the atomic vault of the Space Age.

Star Treatment is an editorial piece celebrating design by looking back in time. This project tells a story through a series of images carefully curated to highlight the Space Age through fashion and aesthetics.
