One Year Later
Another year has passed, and that year has primarily been spent at internships as part of the curriculum. With only a few days left before I officially graduate, this is a brief reflection of a few of the projects I've worked on in the past year.
Using only a low quality photogrammetry model as reference for its size, I freehand built this model in 3ds Max using only guesstimates from photos I took on site.
This was my first foray into drone photography and are meant to be design suggestions for possible extensions of existing buildings in Gothenburg.
I took these photos with a DJI Mini 2, and then photo matched in the extensions in 3ds Max with Corona as renderer. The extensions were modelled using 2D CAD references and RailClone was used extensively to parametrically create facades, railings, curtains, etc.
I was tasked with modelling various mobility aids at a rather low poly level. In my free time I decided to model high poly versions of these, one such being the walker seen in the image above.
With a specific Swedish model in mind, I modelled this walker from scratch in 3ds Max using only a photo as reference.
And that is about all that I am able to show from this past year. Thank you for reading!
