3D Environments

Little Hut

This hut is the last project of my second year.  I wanted to create a place where a child could have established his small sanctuary.  A cosy warm place surrounded by a less friendly pond. I try to animate as much as possible to make this environment look alive :  the trees, the fabrics, the water, the waterlilies and the fireflies.

I modeled everything in Maya, the tree especially was hard work but at the end, quite fun to do and to sculpt in zbrush. This project made me learn a lot about what works and what doesn't in a pipeline. I liked the freedom of creating everything from scratch. I need to train more on stylisation but can't wait to make more projects like this.

Inside an UAZ

In this two images , we are inside an UAZ 452, which is a Russian van. Here, a civil puppeteer made it its home where he lives with his dog. He travels around the country and performs with his puppets to denounce the violence of the sovietic regime of his time.

I had a lot of fun making so many different textures, most of them were made in renderman and I also used substance to help with the different masks I needed. Everything was modeled in maya. It was the last project of my first year in 3d, so there are many first times in those images, but even now, I'm still proud of the result and I remember all the fun I had all along.
