Reinvent yourself or die

by Olga on 31 May 2023 for Rookie Awards 2023

My name is Olga, and it's evident that I have decided to reinvent myself in my profession as an interior architect. I chose to attend School Ing, one of the top ArchViz schools, where I am currently continuing my studies and pursuing my dreams

Round of applause for our sponsors
There have been several projects carried out during these 9 months of learning at School Ing, but undoubtedly, I hold a great affection for three of them..

BETULLA

My project for the Rookie Awards 2023. An Italian classic interior, oriented towards the image of an Italian dining room, but in a very pure and minimalist way.
Architect DA Bureau
Project: OSTERIA BETULLA, Saint Petersburg, Russia.

I started my retail project with great enthusiasm, but I encountered a major challenge: the model had very limited information available, only a non-scaled floor plan and an axonometric view. The complexity of the vertical and horizontal plans, along with the curved intersections, posed a significant challenge
Using simple and elegant materials, such as natural woods and the classic Roman travertine...
Simple, clean, and minimalist spaces, but with significant details such as "kiots"
The standout feature of the project is the second room, with the church benches textured and mapped with natural beech wood, along with the bartender's stainless steel Bar Back, where glass jars with typical Italian products are displayed.

APARTAMENTO JN

Studio mf+arquitetos,

Project: APARTAMENTO JN , Ribeirao Preto, Brazil

Where the focal point of the project was the kitchen. The choice of wood, concrete, and marble brings the necessary comfort to the project.
These materials have been widely used throughout the apartment, from the kitchen to the bathrooms, thus providing a conceptual unity.

Dundee Museum

Architects: Kengo Kuma and Associates.

Project: V&A Dundee, United Kingdom

This project was shaped by our academic director, Eduardo Rodríguez, and led by Víctor Bonafonte, founder, architect, and creative director of beauty & THE BIT. We had the incredible opportunity to have complete freedom to contribute our ideas and creativity to this exciting competition project.

These past months have been filled with intense challenges and learning experiences, where I have encountered both ups and downs but also achieved significant accomplishments. I want to express my deepest gratitude to my professors, Adán Martín and Eduardo Rodríguez, whose dedication and guidance have been fundamental in every step of my journey. Their unwavering support has been invaluable for my professional and personal growth.

Additionally, I would like to thank the entire School Ing team for their valuable contribution and commitment to providing exceptional education. Their collaborative work has created an inspiring and enriching learning environment.

Now, with renewed determination and confidence, I am ready to embark on this new and exciting adventure on my own. I know there is still much to learn, and I am thrilled to discover what the future holds for me. I am prepared to face new challenges, continue growing, and achieve my goals in the exciting world of Architectural Visualization.
