A collection of my concept art projects done during my time at The Game Assembly! I love character design and storytelling, and I poured all of my love for that into these designs and had so much fun working on them. Hope you enjoy!

Round of applause for our sponsors

Moon Priestess and Sun Priest

We begin with the Moon Priestesses who are from a personal project which plays out in a stylized, MMO RPG game. Each race that inhabits the world is based upon a winged insect from our world, and carries their wings. This design represents both a race and a class of character that the player would be able to chose from, and these wings in particular are based on a Cecropia moth.

The world at large is devided into a Sun kingdom and a Moon realm, where they each worship the sun and moon respectively, as they're an important part of their world's creation and balance.

Second up are the Sun Priests who belong to the same MMO RPG world as the Moon Priestesses. They occupy the same role within their respective temple and worship, which I wanted to mirror by keeping them similar, yet separate in their designs. Their wings are based on the Clouded Buff moth.
The other two characters shown in the last picture also belong to the same world but represent a warrior class for each faction.

Na'vi character and mount

I absolutely adore the Avatar movies and universe, and after the release of The Way of Water I was brimming with inspiration and wanted to dip my toes into the Avatar design world myself. Tauni belongs to a fictive clan that doesn't exist in the canon universe, and the creature is also one not seen canonically. But I really wanted to make the designs feel deliberate and functional, and like they would fit into the setting, while doing my best to make them interesting and somewhat original.

Credits for the Avatar universe goes to James Cameron.

Post apocalyptic truck driver

This concept was originally made for a school assignment, where we were given a brief with references to follow for the design. This particular one was supposed to be a post apocalyptic truck driver. I later picked the final design back up and polished her some more!

Huge thank you to my teachers, class mates and friends who supported me and gave me feedback throughout these projects!

And thank you for looking!
