I created this project in the final 6 months of my time at NUA. The inspiration was taken from an experience I had while sailing across the Pacific Ocean on a journey where lots of things went badly wrong. I wanted to challenge myself to see what I could achieve with a solo project.
The assets and cloth simulation were created in Maya and textured in Substance Painter and the scenes were built and rendered through unreal engine. I used Houdini for the particle simulation and Nuke for everything post.
