Hi! I'm Prune, a concept art student at Bellecour Ecole in Lyon. I've studied 3 years here and about to graduate! I'd like to specialize myself in character design, and colorscripts. This post is a compilation of all the work I did this year, personal and group projects I had a blast working on. Cheers!

EXILED
Exiled is a projet thought to be a potentiel animated movie. It takes place in a close future with a touch of fantasy. Alex's people once lived in a great city, but they got banished from said city around 20 years ago.
They went to live in high mountains where most of them died from the cold during the trip to find safety.
ALEX
Alex is the main character of Exiled. He's tired of living in difficult conditions, while his people wont explain the reason for all of this, since he wasn't born yet at the time of the exile.He decides to leave the village, and go see the city for himself.
The Vaddus are beasts from the mountains. They help the tribe navigate the mountains, carrying heavy things such as wood or food they're bringing back from a hunt.
The reason for the exile of Alex's people, is for the form they might transform into if they're going through strong emotions. The banishment took place because one of the people transformed in a rage and killed some citizens.
The city is a melting pot of many cultures and creatures. This results in very colorful, avant-garde and fashionable clothing in the streets. Alex had to hide his horns that are a distinctive feature of his people to be unnoticeable.
BEE
Bee is the helping hand and guide of Alex. She comes from a tropical land, traveling the world to plant trees.She saw Alex traveling towards the city, and knowing the history of his people, she helped him. She found clothes that would blend in the avant garde people of the city for him to wear.
OLROS
Olros is the city's knight willing to do anything to defend the city against what he considers danger. He embodies anger and tyranny at times.
The Village and The City
The Village is where Alex's people took refuge, meanwhile the City is where they got banished from.
MONDSCHEIN
Mondschein is a graduation film directed by Lorin Le Roux Cornevin. This group project took place during the last 4 months.I had the pleasure of working with 3 other concept artists: Zhu Borui, Louis Bresous and Lucie Alexandre.
I had the tasks of painting the colorscript and some keyframes!
It takes place during the First World War, at the Battle of the Somme. The main character Hans, a german soldier, is sent to the No Man's Land on a scout mission.
The base of shots 4.B, 23.A and 23.B were painted by Lucie Alexandre.
The base of shots 6.A, 12 and 15 were painted by Louis Bresous.
Hans discovers Ernst, a wounded and transformed german soldier like himself, who took refuge under a tank.
This project was a great challenge and a blast. Thanks to the entire team!
