Jade 玉

Jade, a basic concept design project, is a story about a chinese princess who her parents were killed when the Emperor's close relatives rebelled for the throne. Before his death, the emperor assigned a loyal creature to bring the princess and escape to a secret location where a magical living house is located to protect her from danger.

Von

A design process principle project about an invasion of creatures on Earth after a meteor strike apocalypse during year 2060, and the survival of human during the invasion. The designs revolve around baseball players trying to survive during the invasion, using their physicality and skill.

Fuchsia En Fleur

A group project where each of our group members come up with visual concepts based on a story. My part of the project will be focused mainly on designing the adoptive father and the elements related to him. 

Story Summary :

Rumours said that a girl named Fuchsia could activate souls by the power of naming. One little girl living with her adoptive father in the forest was believed to have this power. All the kids make fun of her name, and she becomes lonely. A witch heard the name when passing by. She follows the girl and pretends to her father to give her a magic seed. The girl grows it with love and names the tree, Fuchsia when they grow up. Her power causes the tree to become a human; and they started to fall in love. A witch wants this power and catches all her loved ones in hopes of threatening the girl for a name. As the situation escalates, the girl tries to save them with the power of love.

Walk In The Forest

After the girl got bullied, she is upset and go back to the forest to meet her adoptive father. The witch following the girl to her house.

Outrage

The angry witch got out of control and her ice power burst into the surrounding as she threatened the girl to give her a name.

Matte Painting

Some matte paintings using photobashing technique or a 3D base done using blender.

Blizzard

A blizzard, never seen before which lasted for years, took place all over the world which causes severe destruction in cities, destroying buildings and infrastructures. The situation of the storm slowly turns better but the snow storm is yet to stop. Many people died due to the extreme weather and the survivors are still struggling to continue their survival.

Penang Steampunk

An imagination of having steam powered technology taking place in Malaysia during this modern era, combined with old colonial building structures in Penang and incorporating steam powered technology into people’s daily life.

Chinese Imperial Throne Hall

An imperial throne hall under Chinese culture with some fantasy elements such as glowing energy from the dragon and light glowing out from underneath the ground through the ‘yin yang’ symbol in the middle of the hall. Perhaps the ruler possesses magical power and uses it to dominate the country and people.

Unknown Sci-fi Base

A hidden and unknown sci-fi base located in the middle of a waterfall, surrounded by hills and mountain, away from civilization. No one has ever come in contact with any ‘species’ from inside the base, only a few unknown flying ships can be seen entering and leaving the base once in a while, the rest is still remain unknown.
