Spiritual Pursuit

Welcome!

We are the Spiritual Pursuit team. We're a small team of students who study at Howest - Digital Arts and Entertainment. As we submit our project to the Rookies Awards, we are honoured to be among a community of talented individuals who share our passion for innovation and artistic expression. We hope that Spiritual Pursuit will captivate the judges and audience alike, and we are excited about the possibilities it brings forth.

Our story:

Time is running out in our haunted mansion. Will the exorcists defeat the ghosts and break their curses before it's too late? Or will the ghosts stay in control? Grab your friends, choose your side and play!

In this 2v2 couch co-op, you and your friends will play the part of either the brave exorcists or the devious ghosts.

The exorcists' mission is to cleanse the mansion from evil spirits, by performing rituals on dolls that are cursed by the ghosts. Sacred salt allows them to block the ghosts' path. With their crucifix, they defend themselves against the ghosts' attacks.

Meanwhile, the ghosts will stop at nothing to protect their cursed items. Their power to possess the furniture of the house allows them to seriously disrupt the exorcists' plans. When they feel threatened, they can spook an exorcist and try possessing them as well!
