Hello! My name is Aurelius, I'm a student in 3D College Denmark and I have a huge interest in 3D modelling, ranging from game to product and architectural visualization modelling. I primarily use 3ds Max and V-Ray, but I have considered switching to Blender. Either way, please enjoy my work.
Cozy Bedroom
This is my Architecture project. We had to make a scene which could be used for a day and night renders, without changing the scene or camera aspect / view.
This is one of my newer projects and probably one of my favorite projects as I had to learn how to use Marvelous Designer and Photoshop to create a better environment.
I wanted to make something modern, something clean and sharp. Though it had to feel cozy, welcoming and pleasing to look at. I found out quickly that concrete and wood were a really good match. As the concrete would give this cold, hard, sharp look, while the wood would introduce the more welcoming, nicer and warmer colors.
After reviewing a lot of different pictures, I decided to stick with bedrooms, as they would give a better result for a day / night scene.
Lounge Chair
A request by a company related to architecture. They requested to see what I could make within a day, so I created a lounge chair with some extra few props to give it a bit of a feeling.
Portfolio
Architecture isn't the only thing I enjoy doing, prop modelling for game and product visualization is something that has always caught my interterest.
Here's two other projects which I would love to showcase.
Scout Robot
This is my Game Project. In this project, we were assigned to create a scene that would give a different atmosphere when changing colors/lighting.
I went with this one wheeled robot which is inspired from Joe Comeau. I decided to give the surrounding area a more alien look, by adding crystals around, making it look like the robot was sent out to scout the area.
I primarily learned how to use Substance painter (3D painter) for this project as most of it was created within it.
iPhone-10
This is my visualization project. Here I focused on improving my modelling techniques and typology. It was a week full of modelling, texturing and scene creating.
Final words :
Thanks to 3D College I have been able to get closer to my dream of becoming a 3D modeler. It has been an amazing 2-year journey, full of creativity and hard work. There are still more projects to be done but for now, I believe the projects shown above are my best.
