Reebok is a name that once made waves in sports and fitness. Since its prime in the 80’s and 90s, Reebok has been drowned out by the powerful swoosh of Nike and the shadow of the Adidas strides. Today their brand identity is in need of a revival and their name doesn’t carry as much strength today as it did in the past. Reebok needs an opportunity to dive into a new market of products to bring the weight back to the name that was once known worldwide.

In recent years, Reebok has pushed for diversity, equity, and inclusion in its brand’s internal affairs; it also needs to implement these values in the products they produce and sell. There is a gap in the market for sports products that aid those with disabilities, specifically those with visual impairments. The visually impaired need a tool to make them feel safe and comfortable in physical activity and help them navigate different sports independently.

Reebok Insight is a clip-on wearable that can be attached to a chest band during your workout, during your work out it monitors your surroundings and guides you through the space to make you feel comfortable and safe navigating through physical activity. Reebok Insight will provide the user with the necessary feedback and information for navigation, safety, and a guided experience.
