Hello everyone and welcome to my entry with the projects that I have done this year. Here you will be able to see my scholarship as well as my personal proyects. Hope you like it!

Let's begin with the basics:

Here we can see some different volumes studies using abstract objects.

Then I moved onto applying the theory we have seen in the previous work to create a robot, in this case I chose to make an orca so I could create a more organic-like robot.

Here another example in which I worked the volume, shadows, lights and occlusions. (Character based on Katrina Van Tassel)

I've not only been working on ilustrations this year but on some 2D animations too. Here I created the movement of different acrobatics for this character, Red Shadow.

Also made this other animation with this curious pirate, working the lipsync and expressions of the character.

Bit by bit I started developing a cartoon drawing style, since it is the one that makes me feel more comfortable  when it comes to working and telling stories. Here some examples of characters that I have been creating and some dumb humor:

Following the drawing style that I developed, it is more likely to have a more "childish" or "young" audience, but that doesn't mean it is not suitable for other audiences. In this case, I made a children's illustration of the fable "The Fox and the Raven". You can see all the process from scratch, all the way from the thumbnails to the final result:

One of the main objectives of the artists is to know how to tell stories, and to improve my quality I started practicing concept art.

Here some examples:

Honestly, I'm pretty satisfied with all the work I've put in this year. I have learned many new techniques and also new pipelines for work. I hope you liked it as much as I did doing it.

See you at the next Rookies Awards!
