For this year, I bring my last two projects. A grand environment replicating one of the environments from Shadow of the Colossus and a personal project remaking the first scene I did two and a half years ago when I embarked on my journey to learn 3D.

Round of applause for our sponsors

Hello everyone!

In this first project that I want to show you, I wanted to make a replica of one of the Shadow of the Colossus environments, specifically, The kuromori Tower Arena. It is made in Unreal Engine 5.

Here you can see a cinematic as an introduction to the environment:

I also wanted to experiment with light cycles and here you can see the result:

The environment is created and optimized to be playable, as you can see in this gameplay sample:

Here you can see some static renders:

For this project I made several tileable textures in Zbrush and Substance Painter to dress up the environment:

These are the materials created within Unreal Engine, the tileable master and the vertex painting:

I made two asset packs of architectural elements to decorate it, here you can see them along with their textures and topology:

Finally, the modules created to build the entire environment:

This second project has a great meaning for me since it is a remake of the first scene I made two and a half years ago when I had only been learning 3d for a month. In this cinematic you can see the comparison between both:

These are the static renders taken from the environment:

For this project, I created tileable textures in both Substance Designer,  as well as ZBrush and Substance Painter:

This is the landscape material created within Unreal Engine for the terrain:

This is the asset pack used for the house along with its textures:

Finally, the modules created to make the house, as well as different versions that can be created with these modules:

This has been all for my entry in this contest. I hope you like it and thank you very much for watching it!
