Lighting and Texturing Showreel 2023 - Léo Maestracci
Hi, I'm Léo! Here are some of my hard surfacing, sculpting and texturing works, which are some of the areas I want to improve most.
FF-21 - Desert Vehicle
All aspects
For this school assignment, the goal was to create a believable, realistic 3D model of a land vehicle. Since I have a passion for motorcycles and cars, I had a blast working on it!
From the beginning, I wanted to create a desertic, post-apocalyptic setting, as well as a rugged, rusted, but powerful vehicle. So I had the idea of modeling the car's body after a scrapped airplane.
This is a render I made to see how far I could push the post-processing of a render in Nuke, as a form of training.
VHS tape
All aspects
This is a piece of a personal project I'm working on: Creating Ghostface's bedroom. The objective is to push the details of each individual object of the scene to the maximum.
Emperor Tamarin Monkey
All aspects
A school assignment made to introduce us to Maya's interactive Xgen. The aim was to create a realistic animal of our choice. I didn't only chose this monkey because of how silly it looks, but also because the grooming and length of its mustache in contrast to its shorter fur made the project more challenging.
Softwares used:
Autodesk Maya 2022 (Modeling and Lighting)
Quixel Mixer (Texturing)
Renderman 24 (Rendering)
NukeX (Compositing)
Affinity Photo (2D Texturing)
Autodesk Mudbox (Sculpting and Texturing)
