Silo 18 is my graduation project at New3dge Concept Art. My goal was to imagine a research base on an alien planet with a focus on the design of the structure and the life of its inhabitants.

In a future where humanity has become an interplanetary species, Silos are constructed to scout foreign planets for resources and potential human settlements. These space stations are designed to be self sufficient and extend underground to shelter their inhabitants.

Paris 2084 is a project done in collaboration with the Game Art and CGI classes of New3dge. The goal was to explore a stylised game with lineart set in a cyberpunk version of Paris, where humans are waging war against AI.

Below are the concept art I've created for Paris 2084, one of the yearly projects at New3dge, laying the foundation for the Game Art and CGI students, whose works are showcased in the subsequent slider presentation, bringing the initial concepts to life.

This is the Police inspectors office that I designed for the Game Art Team. The police inspector is a genetically modified human being. I tried to find symbols hat could represent her high status, like the big Art Nouveau window, that is connecting it to Parisian architecture or the ancient statues, that stand for human perfection and expression. The statues are fixed with holograms, to pick up on the theme of humanity vs AI.

These are elevators, that allow to travel through the now vertically expanded city of Paris. The goal was to preserve the historical Parisian architecture and contrast it with new technologies.

My name is Alexandra, I am 24 years old and this year I graduate from the New3dge Concept Art School. I am focussing on environment design and I enjoyed exploring different levels of stylisation and themes with my work in the last year.

This piece is mainly inspired by ancient egyptian architecture. In a class taught by Sasha Beliaev I explored how to create depth and the feeling of explorable space. For that I created modules that could be repeated throughout the image and used to guide the eye with their composition.

This painting was done during a great class by Edouard Caplain that focused on storytelling. Soldiers are seeking refuge in somebody's library in an abandoned town. The space is supposed to showcase who lived their before. That is contrasted with the mission of the soldiers and how they take over the room and repurpose the items.

I would like to thank Aurelien Fournier for creating such an amazing Concept Art program. Thank you to all the teachers who shared their knowledge along the way for being so inspiring. And lastly thank you to my class for the last two years, they are all incredible artists and great friends. You can check out their work here!
