Luxury Summer Villa

This was actually supposed to be an animationproject, where we would try animation for the first time. I wanted to build something new and went for this luxury resort vibe.

Urban Architecture

This was a project were we collaborated with Pixelflakes. We were given materials from one of their previous projects. It was a new town centre in Huddersfield and the project was called Kirklees Cultural Heart. Our assignment was to pick a camera angle from the new centre and show how it is going to look. I chose to show the new square that is going to be built and did a little twist. I know that Huddersfield have a football team, so I saw this as an opportunity to integrate one of my interest into an image. I tried to show one way that the square might be used for.

Before & after Photoshop

The Villa

One of the largest projects and our first exterior image. I call it “Det stora röda huset”

The task was to choose a CAD drawing and start to model the house. Give the house an environment and some vegetation and see it slowly come alive. I chose to make the the classic Swedish red house bathed in golden light. My idea was to make an idyllic image of a late summer evening to make us all long for those times. A very challening and time consuming project that came with a lot of valuable lessons in the end.

The Process

Modelling

One of my favourite projects, the modelling project. We found chairs of our likings and modelled and textured it completely from scratch. Modelling is something I feel really confident in doing. And with it being just a chair I could really deep dive into the materials and details to try to make them as perfect as I could. I picked this chair because it was not just your ordinary chair, it had interesting shapes, curves and materials so that I felt i could really show what I can.

Renovation - Kitchen

Renovation project number two. We were to find a house/apartment that needs renovating, pick two rooms and show their potential. The second room I chose was the kitchen. The reasoning behind this simply is because the kitchen is the heart of the home, and it is a good selling point for any home.

Renovation - Bathroom

Project number two was a real step up from the first one. We were to find a house/apartment that needs renovating, pick two rooms and show their potential. The first room I chose was the bathroom. I thought a bathroom could have some interesting aspects and challenges and it really needed a thouch up.
