Hello, I'm Cain, and I would like to showcase my works created during my three years of study at Nanyang Polytechnic's Animation program.
Arcane Art Style Study.
This School project aims to replicate 2D artwork into 3D, closely mimicking the original piece. It serves as an opportunity for me to enhance my ZBrush character skills and delve into stylized texturing inspired by the Arcane Netflix film. The 2D concept art, created by Angelina Stroganova Huntang, serves as the foundation for this project.

Spider-Verse Art Style Study.
This school project serves as an exploration into the captivating texturing style of the Spider-verse film. I delved into the sophisticated method used in the construction of the Spider-verse movie using Maya, Substance Painter, and Photoshop. This immersive experience has given me great insights and understanding about the artistic approaches used to achieve the film's distinct visual appeal.
The 3D models came from Skechfab.
Zbrush Character Sculpting.
This school project focuses on ZBrush character sculpting, with reference to the original 2D concept work by Sangsoo Jeong (7200ss.artstation.com). It attempts to improve my ability to convert 2D concepts into detailed 3D characters using ZBrush.

Cardboard Beach.
This solo project was motivated by my desire to improve my skills in Substance Painter, rigging, and animation. With a self-imposed deadline of one day to complete the project, I went on a voyage of skill development and exploration. By taking on this task, I hoped to push my limits and put my skills to the test, allowing me to hone my skills in these areas.

Environment Modeling, Texturing and Lighting.
This project attempts to improve my modelling, texturing, and understanding of the effects of mood and lighting. Despite the one-day deadline, I welcome the opportunity to improve my skills and produce visually appealing experiences.
