Round of applause for our sponsors

Testing mechanics for a 2.5D sprites ARPG. Coded by me using C# *Sprites were taken from the Mana series*

MECHANICS FEATURED:

Fully functioning AI with Roaming, Chase, Idle and Attacking.

Player attacking, taking damage, pushing enemies and using items.

Item use, level up system with exp and a boss battle.

Testing mechanics for a endless runner. I was very interested in creating learning the mechanics of a endless runner. This was a great lesson of making a game as a whole and I learned a lot.

MECHANICS FEATURED:

Jump sensitivity, hold button for longer jump, tap for shorter jump.

Currency pick ups and obstacle spawning.

Timer and chase mechanic, random time for an NPC to chase player and put pressure on player.

Inspired by the retro/ classic handheld games of the past, I decided to create a version myself. I had a lot of fun making the "classic mode" UI and effects, but also added a full screen mode for a clearer gameplay experience. Easy, Medium & Hard modes all have varying degree of fruit speeds and coconut spawning.

This is a prototype I mocked up for a project that didn't go ahead. Coding, gameplay and mechanics all by me.

MECHANICS FEATURED:

AI pathfinding for NPC's & vehicles.

Dialog system, Quest system.

"Meow" Command system, "follow" & "interact"
