A Disney-fan-made Triptych of Disney Princesses Unveiled. In this captivating series of 3D motion graphics, I invite you to embark on a journey down memory lane as we revisit the beloved Disney princesses. Through the masterful use of their iconic visuals, I aim to evoke a wave of nostalgia, allowing viewers to relive the enchanting moments from the movies. Vibrant shades of pink and red delicately dance across the screen, capturing the essence of the princesses' feminine spirit and evoking a sense of warmth and joy.

- BEAUTY AND THE BEAST -

In this captivating scene depicting Belle's library, my aim is to highlight key elements while maintaining a focal point during animation. I focused on animating the teapot and book to enhance the theme's enchanting atmosphere. One of the challenges was flipping the book without obstructing the clock, utilising the spline tool for precise control. Additionally, I added depth by casting the window's shadow onto the table, enhancing the serene ambience.

- ALADDIN -

In this scene, I encountered an exciting challenge: sculpting the intricate ornamentation on the magic lamp to evoke the essence of Arabia. Emphasising the enchantment of the magic carpet, I brought it to life by animating its undulating waves, captivating viewers with its mystical allure. To add an extra layer of liveliness, I incorporated a gobo light, creating a dynamic interplay of light and shadows when reflected in the mirror.

- THE LITTLE MERMAID -

In this piece, I aimed to evoke the enchanting environment of a mermaid through the depiction of water waves. Finding a sky that exudes a soft and gentle quality to enhance feminine beauty was challenging, but I discovered that a simple pink sky worked best without overshadowing the main subject. Sculpting the rocks to resemble Ariel's typical perch was a new endeavour for me, and I added two different types of moss to bring the scene to life and add visual interest.

Daily Collapse of a Designer

Indulge in a 30-second motion graphic unveiling the tumultuous reality of a designer's daily existence. Witness their once abundant wellspring of inspiration being eclipsed by the insurmountable challenges of client demands, unforgiving deadlines rejected ideas, and a nocturnal slumber pattern. Through the visage of our protagonist, adorned with striking dark circles and a bald head, the quintessential designer persona comes to life.

Breakdown:

Inspired by the captivating art styles of Eran Mendel and Deekay, I embark on a creative journey to craft a minimalist character with distinctive outlines. Using a black and white palette, I capture the designer's despair while injecting vibrant blue elements symbolising hope such as ideas, and inspiration. However, it makes my motion looks lifeless. Thus, I blend shades of blue in each frame, I create a harmonious and immersive visual experience that resonates deeply.
