Gucci Marmont Bag
The following project made at SkyupAcademy describes my 3D recreation of a Gucci photoshoot using Maya software for modeling, Zbrush for sculpting and V_Ray for rendering. The main goal was to recreate the photo in the most accurate way.
To create the atmosphere depicted in the original photo, I worked on lighting the scene.
I strategically positioned lights to highlight the details of the bag and other objects, creating shadows and reflections consistent with the lighting in the reference photo.
Next, I performed the rendering process on V_Ray to obtain high-quality images.
Before starting the modeling process, I thoroughly analyzed the reference photo to understand the features of the Marmont Round Bag, the design details, and the elements present in the scene.
I made a research of references in order to have more angles of view and to understand how to create every element and material in the scene.
Using Maya software, I started modeling the Marmont Round Bag, aiming to faithfully reproduce its shape, details, and materials depicted in the reference photo.
I created the main geometry of the bag, paying close attention to stitching, buckles, and other distinctive elements.
I also modeled the 3D models of the glass cloches, bread, grapes, rambutan, plates, candle, handkerchief, and glass to complete the scene.
After completing the modeling, I applied materials and textures on SubstancePainter to make all look more realistic.
I carefully studied the reference photo to determine the materials and applied textures that faithfully reflected those materials, such as leather, metal, glass, and fabric.
