The Female Chinese Warrior
Inspired by the Chinese opera character, Dao Ma Dan, the female warrior. My character is a female Chinese warrior, warding off spirits and ghosts that are released from the Gates of Hell during the Chinese Hungry Ghost Festival every seventh month of the Lunar Calendar.

Character Art
The character art is inspired by the female warrior character in Chinese Opera, Dao Ma Dan, I designed a similar costume and headdress for my character. The main motif used in her costume are peonies, which represent female beauty, love and wealth in Chinese culture.

Asset Design
I also designed the asset for the warrior, inspired by the spear that the original Dao Ma Dan usually uses in a battle. The spear was designed in Photoshop and modelled in Blender.
