Kyoto Chapel
Architectural visualisation of the Westin Miyako Chapel in Kyoto.
Architectural Visualisation - School project for "Haute École Albert Jacquard", Namur BELGIUM - Yanis Zahraoui:
*I did the hard surface modeling from scratch in 3ds Max.
*I made the stone wall with splines, then I extruded it into a "flat" 3D volume. I then added surface details and imperfections with sculpting tools in Blender.
*The plants are separated in 3 parts: the ivy-like part and the base leaves are 3D models from CGtrader that I modified to fit the plants in my reference. I created the third part (the biggest one with the branches) in Speedtree then I modified it in 3ds Max to better fit my reference.
*I used textures from Bridge (Quixel) for the shaders.
*The background forest is a photo.
*I did the lighting with V-Ray lights.
*I did the rendering with V-Ray.
*I did the color correction with Photoshop.
