Roche Rock
A second year university project made to experiment with styalised textures and lighting to achieve a similar look to Breath of the Wild. The scene is based on Roche Rock, a ruin in Cornwall.
In this Second year university project, I made a diorama scene based off of a ruin called Roche Rock in Cornwall. In this project, I also wanted to experiment with the visuals and attempt to replicate the styalised look of Breath of the Wild.
I followed a high to low poly pipeline to make the scene feel organic and natural.
For this project, I used Zbrush and Maya to create the models and foliage, Adobe Substance and photoshop programs to create the textures, and then everything is presented and rendered in Unreal Engine 5.
I also created a custom shader to achieve the look I wanted.
