4 Artwork - Hino, Silvertron RR. CO, Tengu, JIE
Hey everyone ! My entry includes 4 artworks showcase all I completed during my student years. Through these projects, I learned various skills such as animal & human anatomy, hardsurface modeling, topology, animation, lookdev, rendering, rigging and compositing.
HINO
This is a model made with reference to the concept artist malgam art work,the character name is Hino,this is the first time I do character modeling, and took five months to make it during my student years. This character fully done by me, as well as the modelling, texturing, UV mapping , retopo, lookdev , grooming and compositing. Software: Zbrush, Maya, Substance Printer & Davinci.
Character Description: This is a samurai girl in the Japanese style. She is a lively, cheerful, and sunny person who loves to travel and explore the world. Her favorite food is ramen, so she always carries chopsticks and a spoon to eat quickly. Let's serve her some delicious ramen!
Why I chose this concept: I want to try to make a character with a Anime style, because I am a person who likes Anime very much. And hino fits exactly what I want. There are a lot of textures on this character, I think I can learn a lot from it, the hair is the hardest part for me, because I will be first exposed to how to use xgen in maya, which is a challenge.

Weekly Progress
I first created the models in ZBrush and then imported them into Maya to begin the process of retopology, UV mapping, and texturing in Substance Painter. For the hair, I used XGen in Maya to create it and the red rope around the waist was using nHair.

It is a hardsurface project name Silvertron RR.CO, it took three months to complete. Modelling, texturing, UV mapping ,lookdev and grooming done in Maya,substance printer and krita.

TENGU
This is a creature modeling project name Tengu, made with reference to the concept artist name Alex Konstad , which took three months to complete. Sculpted,UV and textured in Zbrush. Rendered in Maya arnold.
Creature Description: Tengu is an ancient creature, who is the keeper of Riddles. It was born in ancient Egypt, so it also inherited the characteristic of loving gold. Tengu loves metal objects the most, it always chooses the best gold items to wear on its body.

Background Story Description: " The world made of oil umbrellas and metal lotuses like xanadu. In this world will cause mental chaos, the white fallout is the culprit. The protagonist must leave this world, otherwise protagonist will be sozzle and stuck in it forever. "
Compositing Progress
This is compositing and rendering project name "JIE", fully done by me, as well as the sence idea design, modelling, UV mapping, lookdev ,animation,rigging and rendering done by maya. Texturing done by substance printer and compositing done by davinci. This project i completed in three months.
