"Safe In Our World" Art Test

This piece of artwork was based on a brief given to me by the name of "Safe In Our World".

"Safe In Our World" was an art test that I participated in, the general theme of the brief is linked to 'Mental Health'.

The overall idea for my artwork is linked to the idea of a human brain, except in the form of a terrarium. Each aspect of my work represents other aspects in relation to mental health.

- The 'Plant' represents life or in this case a human life.

- The Soil represents growth, in other words a new beginning or journey the person has to take in order to recover.

- The light / god ray represents support from others in order for the plant (Human) to grow.

- The glass jar / bottle represents a safety bubble in which the person can feel free and safe from any types of harm from the outside world.

- The Plaque is a form of inspiration which contains a quote by Aristotle a Greek Philosopher. "It is during our darkest moments that we must focus to see the light" - Aristotle. (In my opinion this quote works well in relation to mental health and the general theme of my terrarium - The plant must seek out light ((Support)) in order to grow).

'RuneScape' Inspired  Artwork

This next piece of artwork was created in the second year of university, I was tasked to choose a studio as inspiration. I decided to go with Jagex Studios.

The overall scene is made up of multiple low poly assets which will recreate the visual aesthetics as seen in the original RuneScape video game.

'Beyond Extent' Art Test

This piece of artwork was created for a solo challenge as part of an art test in the Beyond Extent discord server!

The general theme was to recreate an asset of our choice from a selection of three different ideas. A weapon, shield and cannon. I decided to go with the idea of creating a cannon in the style of a wooden toy.

University Final Project 'Viking Longship'.

This piece of work was a submission for my final project at university, it was planned out and created over a period of a few months! During this project I pushed myself beyond my limits by learning multiple techniques in different software. MAYA, Zbrush, Substance Painter and UE5.
