Character Design - Bylr

This character was designed for the Character Design class. It features a princely character whose design is primarily blue to reflect his kingdom’s colours.

Character Design - Riaz

This was part of a pair project with another classmate and our theme was Rebel vs Royals, Riaz is part of the Rebel faction and is a support-type character. He uses an instrument that was loosely based on the existing Egyptian Lyre.

Environment Painting - Cat Museum

I designed a cat museum, the main focus is the glass dome shaped like a cat’s head. The rest of the building resembles a house to show how cats were once wild animals that have been tamed.

Creature Design

I started out with different silhouettes to determine the form of the creature. I was exploring tonal designs in greyscale and then added colour. Out of the 4 designs I chose one, and illustrated the male creature in its habitat with its young. I designed a poster to further explain the creature’s anatomy, behavior, and habitat.

Creature Design - Baby Form

Card Illustration

Designed and Illustrated a splash art image of my original character. The chosen thumbnail was a scene of him casting his ice magic and creating sharp icicles between him and the camera. Bylr is aided by the Goddess Auna in battle.
