53MM1 - WIP

So I ran into a snag. Unfortunately all my substance files related to this project have somehow been corrupted and will no longer open. This has put me behind an awful lot. 

I really enjoyed this texture challenge and hope to continue developing it in the future.

I've settled on an official pose for now. I like the idea of the robot being big and clumsy with their size but still trying to make it work so when I eventually get round to the environment its going to be scaled appropriately. I have started on the main prop, a dressing dummy, to help tie in the pose.

I've started on the texturing and have at least a base layer for some of the materials, I will say, that some of the UV's and geometry are a little bewildering, but I'm going to stick with the original since it's what we where given. 

It's been a bit harder to fit this in with all my other priorities so I've only been able to work in it at the weekend so far but lets see how far I can get, I want to finish it either way. 

I wanted to do something different from the standard sci fi robot or warrior. 

I like the idea of a reluctant robot built for war but refusing to become a warrior.  All they really want to be is a seamstress and make pretty things.
