Street Lamp Robot

Final render! Done in Blender Cycles. Finally, the young street lamp robot is watching timidly the kid doing his homeworks in a futuristic way. 

Really happy with the result and enjoyed the challenge a lot.

The street lamp´s light is volumetric. The final model looks like this:

Added color, particles, the kid and the pavement. Next step: better lighs and final textures. Reaching the end!

The textures of the street lamp and the kid´s ones are done in Adobe Substance Painter, while the platform is procedural shaded in Blender. 

I decided to choose the first color script from the concept because I believed that they looked more childish, cute and futuristic.

The main concept for this character is inspired by that picture from a few years ago where a kid who couldn´t afford electricity bills end up doing homeworks under a street lamp. Now, the street lamp is a young robot who sees his homework out of the corner of his eye. He seems insterested by the kid homework.
