Libelle – An all-in-one system for natural disaster survivors

Lack of information exchange and communication is one of the biggest problems after natural disasters

Libelle is a system of MESH network combined with a system-integrated tool that would be deployed within communities to help them communicate with each other and find up-to-date information regarding the disaster and the recovery process. Libelle leverages mesh network technology to deliver an intranet system which would help ensure reliable connectivity even in the direst situations. This way, community members are able to charge their cell phones to contact loved ones and gain access to critical assistance. Libelle also helps crowdsource information to help give better data to post-disaster recovery organizations.
