Round of applause for our sponsors

Everything made by myself. I wanted to create a 'clean' portfolio piece as there's so much emphasis on everything being dirty in 3d art, turns out ArchVis was the perfect case study to try this out on! I used UE5 and learned some new methods along the way. I used Substance Desginer for the carpet and tiles and I painted the foliage in Substance Painter.

Realtime rendered in UE4.26 with no raytracing. Dynamic lighting. Atlas made for the foliage. Everything made by me (except the 1 door decal in the left doorway).

First Times (What I learned):

First time making an Adjustable Atlas sheet, used it for the foliage then cut them into cards. 4 channel heightlerped vertex painted material. Subsurface Scattering. Making plaster. ZBrush processes. Using fresnel on glass. Making 'proper' foliage. Baking and texturing foliage in Substance Designer. Making my own LUT's to elevate Lighting.

Night Lighting

Wanted to re-light my alleyway after getting some feedback. I changed the lighting and atmospherics and added some fog cards.

Wanted to push my texturing in substance painter! No high-poly was made, all the height is in the material. I only made the postbox assets, the scene was assembled from megascans.
