Brianna Bria- Storyboarding & 2D Animation
I'm a third year student at CDW & Flinders University studying Character Design, Storyboarding and 2D Animation. Here is some of my work from this semester.
For my major project class I'm storyboarding an opening sequence for "Rainbow Rebels", a magical girl show about four best friends who become rainbow themed heroes to save the day. My goal was to communicate the characters, narrative and key themes of friendship and individuality.
For the first scene I wanted to establish the magical girl aspects of the show by having the girls transform individually. The animatic is currently being worked on with Adobe Animate.

This scene has the main character of Rose missing her home planet, only to be comforted by her new friends.
Part of my Animation final, we were tasked with including a walk cycle in our assignment.
Character Design homework, the assignment was to design Futurama characters in the style of Sean Galloway from his work on The Spectacular Spider-Man animated series.
10-15 minute pose studies from Life Drawing Class, focused on capturing the form and gesture.
